I would like to take a moment and introduce everyone to my one and only blog. In this segment I'll be talking about mostly about my favorite hobby I enjoy doing every much. This means I could be sick and doing it, tired, or it could be night time, past midnight and you'll still catch me enjoying working on my car and building it to its limits. I grew up around the car environment ever since I was a little kid back in Iraq, my home country. Growing up, 2 of my uncles were professional mechanics. Well one of them specialized in Seats and interior of the car, this goes as far as making custom seats, door panels, and even headliners. He even worked on large passenger vehicles like busses. On the other hand my other uncle specialized in motors and transmissions. I would get out of school and instantly ask my dad if he wants to go to either shops to just sit around and watch them and have a chat while I went and played around and helped... well sometimes because I was afraid of messing up one of the customers cars. My dad and I wouldn't leave until they fully close. I also forgot to mention, my dad had a 1998 BMW 740il. That was the first car I've ever driven, it was my favorite. I fell in love with cars because of the Beamer.
Being around cars and driving them is what got me to where I am currently and my passion towards cars. My parents were tired of me talking about cars and asking for toy cars all the time. Till this day, every time we pass by the toys isle, they mention my love for cars as a kid. An addition to my passion, I still have the first toy car I remember asking for. Its collecting dust back home but at least I know its still there and not destroyed. I would take so many pictures of it and wash it all the time just like how I wash my car... every two days. Owning a black car that you care about isn't for the weak.
Learning about working on cars has helped me so much to the point where I've saved so much money on labor by doing it myself instead of paying to get it done. Yes, of course there's thing I cannot always do myself whether its tuning the computer, Painting parts, and other more complicated tasks only people specialized in things like that can accomplish and get done for me. My knowledge doesn't only benefit me specifically but it also benefits my family. For example, I would help them most of the time with simple things they need to get done or changed. I feel like its a great skill for anybody to learn and its never too late to create new hobbies and skills in life.

I admire the fact that you have been active in car matters since you could walk! What is even better is that you have learned all in these years and have saved money doing things yourself. I also liked the toy car story. I cannot wait to hear more about your cars!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your introduction to your blog. It's clear that your passion for cars runs deep! Growing up around your uncles and being involved in the car environment must have been an incredible foundation for your interest. I'm curious to know what is your dream car?
ReplyDeleteMy dream car has to be a helephant swapped Chrysler 300. A helephant engine is an upgraded version of the hellcat motor. It would be a 2 of 2 in the world. Only one person has made it happen and it was Khal_SRT.
